What is assisted living?

Assisted living is group housing that offers an independent lifestyle with the security of licensed staff to assist you should you need extra help.  No more home maintenance – we have that covered.  No more laundry – we do it for you.   No more housekeeping – it’s provided.  No more cooking – unless you’d like to reserve our private kitchen.  Spend your time enjoying our amenities, and we’ll be there if you need us.

Do I have to pay extra for everything?

Accepted Answer

No, most of our services are included in your monthly fee.  (CLICK HERE to see a list of our included services).  Exceptions include special salon services, phone services, added cable channels or streaming services, some café purchases, and a few activities.  When you decide to make Foundation Senior Living your home, we’ll fill you in on all the details.

What precautions are you taking against coronavirus, the flu, etc?"

We take infection control seriously.  We have a state-of-the-art UV air-purifying system inside EVERY heating and air unit on the premises so you can breathe easy.  We also follow CDC requirements and recommendations, as well as North Carolina and Wake County health guidelines.

We love animals, however, we do not allow them in our community at present.

Where is the community located?

Accepted Answer

We are located about 5-10 minutes south of Interstate 40 at 1437 Aversboro Road in Garner, North Carolina. Garner is a small town of about 30,000 people located only 10 minutes from downtown Raleigh, 15 minutes from NC State University, and 40 minutes from the campuses and hospitals of Duke University and UNC-CH.

Who is Foundation Senior Living?

Foundation Senior Living is operated by the Wilson and Butler families, third-generation providers of assisted living services in North Carolina.  Together with close family and friends, we purchased an assisted living facility formerly located on the site.  In 2019, we demolished the older building.  Now, in the Summer of 2021, we look forward to the Grand Opening of our NEW three-story community!
